Sleep Technician  (Polysomnographic Technician)

*Owen Sound Location

This position includes the responsibility of performing polysomnography (diagnostic or therapeutic) on patients who present with various sleep disorders. This position will have direct patient contact, including explanation of the procedures, answering patient questions, setting up the patient for the procedure, resolving technical or equipment issues and overnight monitoring of the sleep study, ensuring patient safety and care is of utmost importance. 

  • Part-Time or Full-Time opportunities

  • 10.5 hour night shift length

  • Hourly rate range $20 - $25 plus premium payments

Position Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree/ diploma in relevant discipline, or in process of completion. 

(i.e. health science, BSc in Science, BA in Psychology, medical laboratory, nursing, etc.) 

  • CPR Certification required
